GRRF is pleased to announce a new relationship with RiceTec, the world’s leading seed company dedicated exclusively to the creation and sale of hybrid rice seed. RiceTec’s mission is to improve the profitability and sustainability of rice production through science-based innovation.
Recognizing our common interests, we have signed a memorandum of understanding outlining RiceTec’s intention to support GRRF grants to students working or interested in rice breeding, reproductive biology, and other areas of relevance to the hybrid rice seed sector. A very generous grant of US$10,000 to GRRF for 2026 anchors our relationship at the outset.
